Terry Hair - Varsity Head Coach, (913) 481-3990
Terry has been a Varsity Men and Women's soccer coach in Olathe since 1981. He has coached 2,500 wonderful student athletes that have both touched his life and have provided him incredible memories. Over the years, he has had teams that have won League titles, Regional titles, and even State Championships. These accolades did not just happen. Terry has had masterful mentors both in high school and in college where he learned from the best. His high school coach, Terry Michler and his college coach at RockhurstUniversity, Tony Tocco both have been named National Coach of the Year by the NSCAA. Coach Michler at CBC high school in St. Louis, MO just won his 800th game this past Fall, making him the winningest coach in the entire United States. Terry Hair and his wife Mary both teach at Olathe East and are lifelong educators with a passion and dedication towards developing the best from those that they meet along the way. "It is my extreme pleasure to being able to coach your son or daughter and to prepare them to perform at their maximum potential."
Keeley O'Grady - Varsity Coach, (913) 579-6404
Keeley has coached under Coach Hair and the Olathe East Mens' and Womens' program/s since 2004. In that time he has been a C team and Junior Varsity coach, and the Men's Varsity Assistant coach over the last 6 years. He has been teaching at Olathe East since 2001; he currently teaches Personal Finance, Management, and Marketing. He attended Creighton University graduating in 1998. After graduating he spent some time working for the former Kansas City Attack. Keeley takes great pleasure in coaching and interacting with each player, students, and their families. "Our parents and players make Olathe East a special place to not only coach but to teach at, I enjoys being part of such a great community."
Brian Pollack - JV Coach
Brian has been teaching in the OlatheSchool District at Pioneer Trail Junior High for four years. This will be his first year on the Olathe East staff; Brian will be teaching digital photo as well as drawing. Brian is married and has a two year old boy named Finn, He and his wife Missy are anxiously awaiting the new arrival of another baby boy in late August. Born and raised in Kansas, Brian has been active in JohnsonCounty soccer his entire life. He played varsity soccer at Blue Valley Northwest, and continued at the club level at the University of Kansas. Brian's previous coaching experience was at Olathe South and Pioneer Trail. He is very excited to be working with both the Mens' and Womens' teams this season.
